We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. • Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service. • No-shows will also be charged 50% of the scheduled service. I’ve honed my craft through extensive education at Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and New York, as well as Vidal Sassoon in New York. My specialization in Aveda products and techniques, combined with my broad knowledge of the salon industry, allows me to bring vibrant life and style to every client’s hair. MASTER STYLIST - I’m Alfred Melchiorre, known as Al, and I bring 48 years of experience in haircutting and hairdressing. My career began in 1979 when I opened my first salon in New York, and in 1994, I came to Wichita, Kansas. Over 45 I’ve built a respected reputation driven by passion for the craft and a commitment to excellence. Drawn to this profession for its glamor and the challenge of reaching the top 1% in haircutting and hairstyling, I trained at Altisma Beauty School in Flushing, Queens, New York, specializing in custom haircutting and hairdressing. Each haircut I design is tailored to my clients’ unique features, hair type, personality, and lifestyle. My focus on perfection ensures every client receives a customized experience that enhances their individuality. I am known for being approachable and personable, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment where honesty, integrity, and dignity guide my interactions. Every client is treated with the utmost respect and care Outside the salon, I am passionate about woodworking and detailing automobiles, especially classic cars. My journey began in 1982 with the opening of dé-al Salon in New York, and since relocating to Wichita, Kansas, in 1994, I’ve established myself as a leading stylist in the area. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to mastering the art of hairstyling and sharing my knowledge with others. In the early 90s, I served as an educator for Schwarzkopf, where I trained numerous professionals in advanced techniques. My specialties include color services, color correction, body waves, women’s haircuts, and styling. I hold certifications in Hotheads Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, Rejuvenol, and Keratin Complex Treatments, ensuring that my clients receive the latest and most effective treatments available. I’m licensed in both New York and Kansas and completed my education at Ultissima in New York. My career has been enriched by the friendships I’ve made with my clients, who inspire me to deliver personalized, exceptional service with a commitment to excellence.
